Having never rebuilt a weed eater before, I followed the instructions and what I saw on the video, dumped the old gas and added a can of 50:1 weed eater fuel from the auto parts store. It started right up and I was able to weed eat the whole the yard. No issues. No issues the second time I've used it as well. Excellent parts kit, simple install. Aftermarket brands are unfortunately hit or miss, but Hipa brand has gotten very good reviews amongst a lot of professional small engine repair shops and YouTubers. I figured I'd give them a shot.
