I went ahead and got 2. I have a large 200l tank and a smaller 54. the pump has 4 outlets and comes with all the tubing and attachments you need, including 4 airstone balls. The balls are not great at providing consistent bubbles, but I don't use them anyway so that's ok. Also, the suction cups are not the best at holding the tube for the air and it keeps popping off, so I bought some other ones with a little cable tie attached to fasten them securely. You can choose to 1,2,3 or all four of the air outlets, I use 1 on my smaller tank, and 3 on the larger one. The unused outlets are easy to cap off by either using the flow control attachment or turning the check valve the other way around. But, it's good to know I have extra outlets when I need them. The machine is quite powerful but has a dial switch to control it. Otherwise check if there is a service kit available. One outlet went then another after nearly 2 years. Started to get loud when on full power.
