## Description

La Savonnerie Le Serail is the last remaining artisanal soapmaker located in the heart of Marseilles, France. Established in 1949, the factory is dedicated to the production of traditional Marseilles soap (Savon de Marseille) following method established in the 17th century by the edict of Colbert. Savon de Marseille is entirely natural soap made either from saponified olive oil or saponified vegetable oil (in our case, coconut and copra oils). This authentic 1kg size cube of traditional Marseille soap is an essential part of any bathroom, kitchen or laundry room. You can use it to take a shower, wash your dishes or get rid of stains on your clothes. Hand-crafted from olive oil with neither fragrance nor color added, it is the purest and most luxurious of all soaps. 1kg approx. (Product subject to desiccation real weight may vary from 800g to 950g)

Review: Can’t say enough about it - This is such a beautiful soap from France. The block is quite big. Really too big to handle in the shower for me. I wasn’t sure how to divide it but the soap is softer than made in and it was quite easy to cut. There is something very luxurious about the soap. I don’t know quite how to explain/describe it. The lather is soft and soapy and gentle. I have shingles and am grateful that my purchase of a luxury splurge is now a necessity. It has helped my skin so much.

This is such a beautiful soap from France. The block is quite big. Really too big to handle in the shower for me. I wasn’t sure how to divide it but the soap is softer than made in and it was quite easy to cut. There is something very luxurious about the soap. I don’t know quite how to explain/describe it. The lather is soft and soapy and gentle. I have shingles and am grateful that my purchase of a luxury splurge is now a necessity. It has helped my skin so much.
