It can guarantee not only the strength and tenacity of Cargo Pal, but also using effect and service of life fastening hook. Every Cargo Pal unit is L style which has rectangular dam board structure. It is suitable for almost all shapes of items and reaches the best fastening effect. Fastening hook is available to most wool carpet and getting good fastening effect. Review: Very Useful! - My wife's new VW came with some like these & worked well. I wanted some too & ordered these after viewing many others. They came unassembled, to save space. I was worried when I had to assemble them that they might not be sturdy. ButThey were easy to put together, just be sure they are fully seated. You might have to pound them a bit with something, as they connect very tightly. Once assembled though, they are very sturdy and don't come apart. They stick like crazy to the felt-like carpet in the back of my car! I actually had trouble getting them off, after the first time I stuck them to the carpet! You need to pull them with a rotating movement instead of just trying to pull them straight up. Doing that, with how well they grab, will pull the carpet right off if you pull hard enough! Rotating them, will free them without running the carpeting. I have put them on and off many, many times and it doesn't seem to wear on the carpet like I thought it might. They work fantastic! Putting one of these in opposite corners of something will usually keep it secured easily. I have only once used all 4 to keep something heavy from sliding around. I don't know why I didn't get these before, they are the best!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are the measurements for each piece??**
A: 7" long, 4" high, 3/4" thick.  Two such pieces lock together into a 90 degree angle (7" on each right angle side)

The hypotenuse of that right angle is sqrt (49 + 49) inches, if you care :)

**Q: Are they reusable?**
A: They are made of plastic with Velcro on the bottom, I use my over and over. They are awesome!

**Q: what is the fastening hook made of?**
A: The two pieces clip together to form a 90 degree angle with a sliding plastic clip. The angles are smooth on top and have a Velcro like bottom to grip trunk liner fabric. I keep a set in each of 2 cars for use in stabilizing shopping bags, cartons, and loose items.

**Q: Is the set of 4 just 4 sides or 4 complete squares?**
A: It depends upon which of the two items you purchase ... that's why the earlier answers seem to contradict themselves :)

The "set of 2" has 4 pieces of plastic ... you can form two "L"s (each "L" has 2 pieces of plastic).

The "set of 4" has 8 pieces of plastic ... you can form four "L"s.

These are great for keeping things stable in your trunk. I've had a different brand before so I was happy to find these again. They are very sticky so long as you have a carpeted area in your trunk. They work great to keep things organized. I don't worry about groceries shifting when using these.
