I’ve tried the food petco recommended and many others. She only ate freeze dried bloodworms but those are only snacks. These were the first actual food she accepted and ate. The pellets are a great size. They float for a while, long enough for her to see and eat. I’m very happy with this product. Review: This food saved my Betta! - I rarely write reviews but I felt like I needed to acknowledge this Amazing product. I had bought a recommended Betta food from local pet store with first Betta and sadly my fish went down hill and eventually passed over the rainbow fishy bridge. Fast forward to the next Betta that I now have. Same food, same story, lost all color and became lethargic. So, I decided to try a new food as a last try. (I had tried everything within tank set up over months.) This new food, “Ultra Fresh Betta Fish Food” saved my current fish! He was so excited about this food that he became extremely active and his color came back within a few days!! He’s so active and never stops swimming around his tank. I named him Pac-Man because he literally waits at the front of tank for feeding three times a day and eats every piece like Pac-Man. I couldn’t be happier with this product. ## Features - High Palatability : Sword Prawn Flavor - A blend of wild sword prawns, akiami paste shrimp, vegetables and seaweed. Here is the ingredient list. Sword prawn, Akiami paste shrimp, Spinach, Squid, Wheat germ, Spirulina, Ganoderma polysaccharides, Norwegian seaweed, corn, garlic, mineral substances, vitamins(A, D3, C, E, B1, B2, B6 &B12), β-carotene, folic acid, nicotinic acid, pantothenic acid and EAA (methionine, lysine) Best, Team Ultra Fresh **Q: Does it really float on the surface or will it gradually start sinking down to the bottom of the aquarium?** A: Only floats partially. That is, when you drop the food in it floats, but if the Betta swims close to the pellets, the motion will cause the pellets to sink. That's a bummer. It should stay afloat all the time. **Q: Are there any insects in the food? the natural recipe graphic lists “insects”, but the ingredient list doesn’t list any.** A: online and on bottle lists insects but many other healthy ingredients. betta loves it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My betta is finally eating *by G***E on September 7, 2026* I’ve had a betta koi for about 2 weeks, its been difficult to get her to eat anything of nutritional value. I have also given some to my goldfish and I get the same response from them; they just love the thing. I have not gotten a similar response from other foods. the size is perfect for my betta; the texture is solid and stays afloat for a nice period. My pets just prefer this over other foods, and it clearly shows that they just enjoy eating this. Great value for the money. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ultra Fresh Betta Fish Food, Pro Shrimp Patties, 50% Sword Prawns + Akiami Paste Shrimps, All Natural Protein, Rich in Calcium, for Betta's Healthy Development and Cleaner Water, 0.7 oz - SunGrow 50 pcs Catappa Indian Almond Leaves for Betta Fish Tank Aquarium, 2” Water Conditioner Leaves, Leaf Also Suitable for Shrimp, Goldfish, Guppy and Frogs - Crystalpro Betta Minerals for Betta Fish Health - Reduces Stress - Boosts Protective Coat - Betta Aquarium Mineralizer 4.2 Oz Treats 500 Gallons --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/347770724-ultra-fresh-betta-fish-food-betta-pro-shrimp-patties-50](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/347770724-ultra-fresh-betta-fish-food-betta-pro-shrimp-patties-50) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
