Recently received a tea mug with a strainer and having a desire to reduce caffeine intake, I ordered a few loose herbal teas to give them a try and this was one. The quality and the taste can’t even compare with teabags, the difference is night and day. Even before it’s brewed, the fragrance of this loose tea smells wonderful. You can see the flowers and you know what’s in the stuff you’re drinking. It’s packaged in a thick recloseable pouch, not necessary to have a separate storage container if you don’t want it. At first, I was a little unsure of how the lavender and rose might be. Yes it smells a little bit floral, but the taste is in no way overpowering and just adds some complexity to the overall flavor. The more I drink it, the more I like it. We’ll definitely reorder. Please be sure to always keep it in stock. Oh and by the way, we can get two steeps out of one spoon of tea. I do wish it taste as good as it smells, but like I said for me personally lavender tea has never been there for me as far as flavor. That's just how it is in my opinion. Which, for me, intensifies the tea's soothing and aromatic qualities.This love affair with chamomile tea is a recent one, the consequence of middle age acid reflux( simultaneously mundane and excruciating ). My old self would drink Earl Grey till late afternoon, followed by chardonnay and then peppermint... Sadly those days are over. So I started trying all versions of chamomile tea that I could find. There are plenty versions. And generally they are all pretty darn boring, which of course is the point. Or worse they taste a bit like dirty water. But this loose leaf tea is superior to any tea bag version you will find on store shelves. It is also a great deal, it makes literally pots and pots of tea.
