I chewed the little pill which was bitter and gross only for a minute but well worth it bc it started taking effect w in 5-10 minutes. Just a little tip if you’re itchy and desperate like I was! Lol

**Q: I have always been a Tagamet user,,Is this a better way to go for Gerd and acid reducer?**
A: I was using ranitidine, but have since stopped and started using famotidine. So far I have been fine with the switch. I'm not sure if it's better for GERD. I would talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

I've found this to be almost exactly the same as the OTC (over the counter) brand names. I used to take Zantac 360 and before that, Pepcid AC. This works just as well and the price is better. No taste, Easy to use container, Same strength.
