The pump puts out about twice as much as needed, so I usually do a short pump. it has some alcohol in it along with witch hazel - between the two, irritation is generally a thing of the past so long as your razor isn't horribly dull. The scent is very nice, although it doesn't last forever. Combines well with other scents and isn't over powering.
