These ones don't need the driver so a big improvement and the lights should last the stated 30,000 hours or so - about 8 years by my calculation. Wire ends are tinned so easy to fix in the terminal blocks. Length of wires is fine. Brightness is fine, slightly brighter than previous ones. Don't look directly at the beam, but perfect for lighting up the room. I have 5 in a star pattern in a room about 15' by 15'. Overall very pleased. Seems an excellent product - time will tell.
