There’s no noise like others described, I wonder if it’s a material or installation issue others are having. Installation was easy. We’re using it on the front door, so it’s heavier, it either closes it completely or at least brings the door back partially to the latch, which prevents pets from escaping. We have a sensor on the door so we’d get an alert if it isn’t latched after a minute. So having this installed to prevent the door from being wide open is perfect for us. It gives us enough time to get someone else to close the door fully if needed. Also it’s a good price at 15.99

**Q: Can you use this on a bifold door?**
A: I’m not real sure. It’s going to give a gentle push near the hinges. Push on your bifold there. ( about 6-10 inches out). Does the door close?  Then yes.

**Q: Can this door closer be set on the vertical inset of an external door jamb that opens outward?**
A: Maybe, but I don't think you would want to use this product and have it exposed to the weather.

This is smaller than I expected, which is good. There’s no noise like others described, I wonder if it’s a material or installation issue others are having. Installation was easy. Installs easy, works perfect for the door but did develop a squeak after two days. a little penetrating oil corrected the squeak.
