**Q: Does this come with a gasket?**
A: I recall it did not come with one.

**Q: Will this replace pn P08080?**
A: Whatever cover I purchased fits well. I have three Pentair pumps and think they're all same size covers. Hope this helps

**Q: Why is the color listed as black if it is clear?**
A: Hi Tom, not sure as I purchased a clear one.  Besides, you need a clear cover to check on debris in the filter.  Perhaps its a typo.  I's contact the seller.

**Q: I *beleive* i have a whisperflo - label is gone.. p/n on current lid is 357151. is this the equvalent part despite new part number?**
A: This lid fits my Whisperflo pump. The part number does coincide with my pump which is older than 11/1998 and is sealed in place using a metal brace with a knob. I think the newer models use a overlapping ring. If you are unsure, I just checked google and saw plenty of vendors selling the 357151 version for pretty much the same price. FYI.

This is the correct pump lid for pumps made before 11/98. If your current pump lid is secured to the pump by a metal band, you have a pre-11/98 pump.

Ok, so this was a great find. I love Amazon and Pentair for selling this product for a much cheaper price. This little cap right here was over seventy dollars at my local pool store. It fits our pool pump perfectly. We have had it for a few months now. I am very pleased with this purchase
