I like that it is " foldable" and can be carried almost discreetly. Time will tell just how durable it is. It appears welI made. I liked the small tarp and the pouch that you can put the umbrella in.The automatic opening is a snap and "vigorous" and although this is "zen" I almost saw it as a defensive weapon you can use when someone is in front of you and has a knife and you aim the tip of the umbrella towards the perpetrator. Although I wouldn't want to ruin my classy umbrella. I would buy another one of it though.
