It’s been in for over a year or so now and working perfectly. Good value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ American Standard Heat strip contactor *by B***R on January 15, 2024* My American Standard AC/Heat went out in Dec. '23 of course when you need it the most. When I turned on the heat it didn't work so I began checking all the normal things, thermostat batteries, breaker panel and then I went to the air handler and took the panel off to take a look. I descovered tucked away behind some wires a 5amp flat auto fuse that was blown. I replaced it and as soon as I turned on the heater it would blow the fuse. I then began looking beyond the little circuit board which was lit up with a good fuse in and descovered this double pole switch and looking at it saw that the coil was melted. Wala! I ordered the correct, matching switch, (this one), and swapped it out. The heater now works perfectly again.
