Review: Less waste than disposable - I hate using disposable zip top bags for single use, such as onions or cheese. My daughter had similar bags to this, and I really like them. I selected these based on price, reviews, and size variety. These are really well made of a durable plastic. The zipper top holds very well, holding the vacuum seal after zipping. They are also ready to wash, simply put a drop of dish soap and warm water then wipe the inside. I then place them upside-down in the dish drainer to air dry before storing. So of these bags are rectangular shaped. My only request would be to have some square ones to hold sandwiches.

A: Yes, they stand up very easily.

**Q: Is this microwave safe ?**
A: I wouldn’t even try it. Put it in glass like you’re supposed to. No matter what the material is, you should never put anything other than glass in a microwave.

**Q: Are these reusable plastic bags really leakproof?**
A: I haven't experienced any leakage issues in the six months since buying the bags.

**Q: How hard do you have to push to close the bags? I have arthritis, so it's difficult for me.**
A: I don't know your hand strength with arthritis, but the the bags snap together easily, and the zipper seems easy to close.

I love these bags. They stand up on their own so it's easy to fill them up. Unfortunately, one had a hole in the side so I only use it for solid items not liquids. However, this only happened to one bag. They are easy to close, easy to wash and dry quickly. The price is substantially below similar brands.
