I'm not an olive oil snob but know what I like.  And I LOVE this oil!A good extra virgin olive oil will have a pure and delicate flavor, it shouldn't overtake the flavor of the food you're preparing or cooking but should complement it and bring out subtle flavor notes.  This oil delivers and is one of the best I have tried in a long time.  It's aromatic and full of body and flavor without the bitterness other high end oils I have tried.  I've drizzled this oil over soup, dipped hunks of bread in it, tossed in homemade vinaigrettes and sauteed with it, it is one of the most versatile oils I have used in a long time.Even though it's recyclable, the container that houses this olive oil is so attractive that I don't think I can throw it out when it's empty.  The hand-drawn scene is stylish and unique, making for a great gift idea for the hard-to-buy-for chef that has everything.If you're looking for a gourmet oil without the gourmet price tag, this is the oil for you.
