This is a hard style case (has some give in material to flex as in the picture) with plenty of room for your gear. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is because with a selfie stick in the zipper compartment, the case bulges slightly. Would recommend to someone looking for a quality case for their GoPro and gear.Update after 2years: still going strong and updated to 5 stars. I have added a second camera. Also it is a good idea to mark which side is the top so you don’t open it upside down. Still recommend this case. ### ⭐⭐⭐ A bit thin *by R***B on May 29, 2018* I bought this because of the zippered compartment, but the case is thinner than the one I was replacing it with, making it useless for a camera bag with a lot of accessories. The inside protection is harder than the soft foam in my current case and has a odor.
