The poems ARE fun, and some are more 'kooky' than others in the way they are presented, or written, or just the content. I bought this book for my mum who's memory is not what it was. I had hoped it would have more traditional poems, the ones she would have remembered from childhood although that is not the case with this publication. If you are looking for children's poems for older adults, those they would remember, then this is not the book for you. Some of the poems are quite fun.
