Mi padre me compró El enorme cocodrilo cuando yo tenía unos 6-7 años en español y era uno de mis libros favoritos, por lo que no dudé en comprarle éste en inglés a mi hija de 7 años. Lo leyó sola en solo unos minutos pero le encantó. Disfrutó comentando conmigo las acciones de ese malo cocodrilo y lo genial que era que todos sus planes salieran mal. Esta es una versión reducida, igual que el que yo tenia, ya que el “verdadero” es mucho más largo. Pensé que el “original” (versión más larga) en inglés sería demasiado para ella pero en vista de que lo terminó en minutos creo que me animaré a cómpralo también. El tamaño del libro es estupendo, las ilustraciones en color geniales al igual que el tamaño de la letra. Al final vienen unas actividades muy divertidas que ayudan a practicar la comprensión lectora, el “writing” e incluso el “speaking” si un adulto está con el niñ@ y le anima a dar explicaciones de sus respuestas. Al final del libro también hay un código con el que puedes descargar el audio en inglés británico, inglés americano y las respuestas a las actividades del final del libro y las de “activity book” que se compra aparte. Es tan completo en ese sentido que ya he encargado otros títulos en el mismo formato del genial escritor Roald Dahl.
