The stirrups that came on my spouses' saddle were too small. We have both gotten our feet stuck at inopportune times. Fortunately we have patient horses or it could have been a dangerous situation. I purchased these stirrups and they are perfect for our needs. They have plenty of room for any shoe or boot we use. Also, the weight of these stirrups keeps them in the proper position making it easy to get our feet in or out.
