I have been getting rid of all the plastic containers and pitchers and replacing with glass and metal. The first thing I thought when I saw this glass carafe was it is so stylish and pretty, I just wanted to look at it. Its that nice. Also, I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it is, perfect size. I washed it with warm soapy water then rinsed really good. It is dishwasher safe but I don't have one so hand wash it was. Then I made some sweet tea and poured it into the Zenzense glass carafe. The top piece that goes down into the top of the carafe is rubber so there is no worries of breaking. It fit snug inside then has a metal cover that opens as you pour. Nothing spilled or leaked. Only takes one hand. I didn't have to remove the cover or flip up a lid its just so easy. Fits perfectly inside the refrigerator or on the door. I love it. This would make a perfect gift also.
