**Q: Can I screw through the Sound soaker mat, or will this reduce the effectiveness?**
A: Hi there, you can screw through the mat as the effectiveness won't be reduced. If you use a large washer this will definitely make sure to secure the effectiveness.

**Q: Can i use this item outside is it waterproof?**
A: You probably could but you’d lose the hardness of the material.. the material is quite hard but rain and bad weather could make it soft or even harder. I use it to stop vibration from a motor drilled to the attic floor and it helped by reducing sound around the ceiling of the house. Hope this helps.

**Q: I have bought this and placed it under my pump and there is no improvement in noise. Am Imissing something??**
A: No. mine is just as bad as ever. Still vibrates throughout  the house.

**Q: These mats were developed for under studio monitor speakers. Why advertise as pump mats?**
A: Good question I found them of little use
