Tough as they come, no loss of touchscreen sensitivity through cover, nice and grippy and very attractive in the blue option I chose for my Galaxy S5.A few gripes that are universal to all Defender covers (I've owned four: Galaxy 3, 4 and now 5)1. Bulky.Not a big issue, but for my needs, it hampers two big uses:A) It's a difficult fit now in the Ram Mount cel phone cradle on my motorcycle, which I attach to many times daily.B) The headphone jack access is restricted enough to prevent credit card sliders to fully seat, requiring cumbersome disassembly to facilitate.2. Difficult DisassemblyAs above, but more. As it is more frequently disassembled, the rubberized outer cover tends to soften up, stretch some and lose the precision fitment the unit is renowned for.If none of these issues apply to you, it's a home run, five-star product you won't regret investing in.For my purposes though, these limitations are significant enough to cause hesitation.Not significant enough to be a dealbreaker though, as this is my fourth Defender purchase. The unrivaled levels of protection outweigh the inconveniences of access and portabiluty I encounter.Pkus, it's a great value now compared to the $50.00 retail you'd pay in a B&M store. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works, but has issues *by A***R on July 4, 2016* I've had this case for about 7 months now. Within the first couple weeks, the silicon/rubber "bridge" between the home button and the charging port bumped up like it had been stretched (it hadn't been). Other reviewers remark this same issue. Now, it is cracked, and otterbox charges shipping to replace the case (obviously not a single user issue). One of the plastic tabs on the inner case has broken as well.I will say this case has prevented damage the very few times I have dropped my phone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Sturdy, Great For People Always On the Go *by J***I on December 27, 2015* The OtterBox I received is authentic. I've become hesitant to order mass produced items such as this based on personal experience and reviews concerning authenticity. The particular OtterBox I ordered was sold/shipped by Amazon vs. an individual vendor.Hubby needed a rugged phone case with belt clip for work, which is in tough conditions, inside and out, day and night. Waited nearly a month to see if it held up, and luckily, its still like new.The phone sits snuggly in its case, completely protected, and surprisingly not bulky. The extremely sturdy belt clip grips the phone case, yet comes off with ease when needed.
