Seem to be well constructed. The leather is clearly low grade - veins, creases etc but it's not a dress shoe so I don't think this is important. When they wear out I get another pair same size. Withstand water, mud, bare feet. Comfortable. Wear them store. Work outside wearing them. Work in shupnwearing them Going out to dinner I rub on some neatsfoot oil after brushing them clean. Have not slipped yet while wearing these since 1998. Price up by $60 since then.
