Very helpful! My daughter has carried this book around with her, read it to us, to herself, shown it to others. Today she made a breakthrough and was able to describe feelings and relate them to events that occured in her first family, using language and images from this book. This was the first time she was able to talk openly about negative things her first mom did and describe how she felt during that time, and how it makes her feel day to day now.
