**Q: Are the coloured threads cotton threads?**
A: I’m not sure. The whole kit is not the best quality

**Q: I can’t even open the needles?**
A: There's a hole on the side - you have to spin the plastic around so the hole meets the type of needle you want to release.

Nice little kit has everything you need. Only let down is very cheap zip that catches and looks like it will break easily trying to close the case up… however for the money you get what you pay for
