Is it expected or should I return them?** A: Iron is the main constituent of Stainless steel and therefore all grades of Stainless are ferrous (attracted to a magnet). The degree to which each grade is ferrous varies widely (generally indicated numerically, such as "304 stainless", etc.), but even those that are not perceivably attracted to a magnet are ferrous and contain iron. So, the simple presence of iron is in no way an indication the item will rust, although that is a common misconception. These are food grade stainless steel. I have owned mine long enough that any iron oxidation would have been plain to see and none has occurred. As such, it's safe to say none will. No need to return them.
