Review: Worked Well For Me - This worked perfect for me. I added four 3.0 USB ports two A and two C ports using a 3.5 inch available space in my computer case. Since my 20 pin was already in use this was perfect to split it to two uses. Everything is working perfectly. This cable worked great.
Review: Don't waste your $$$ on an item that doesn't work - First off, the cables barely fit into the female end. They fall out very easily. They come loose and I have to find myself having to check them often to make sure they are not separated once again. However, when I decide to finally use the USB ports, I keep getting an error saying unknown USB device device descriptor request failed, after trying every trouble shooting scenario I can with windows, customer service and others we came to the conclusion that it was the hardware itself, ie the cable that I bought from here. The cable is loose. It's cheap. It doesn't stay together and it keeps giving my computer an error. Not letting me read USB flash drives. It will charge devices like my headset, but I cannot read any data such as a USB flash drive. Not worth it. Don't do it. Go somewhere else.

**Q: Will this cable work on asus rog strix z690-e gaming wifi motherboard and corsair 7000d airflow tower?**
A: This splitter will not make one USB port on the motherboard acts like two, at least in my case. If you plan to purchase the cable to connect and activate four USB ports on top of the case, it will not work unless the onboard USB connector support four USBs. I am using Aorus Z590. I connected USB 3.1 connector on the motherboard to the two USBs on Corsair 7000, and USB 2.0 on the motherboard to the remaining two USBs on the case to make all USBs work. I hope this helps.
