Review: Smooth smoking pipe - I have smoked a pipe off and on for the past 50 years and I am the farthest away from being an authority on pipes as you can get. I have cheap pipes, expensive pipes, corn cob pipes, home made pipes and electronic pipes. I have had a lot of pipes over the years but I have never owned a long pipe such as this pipe. My main dislike of smoking a pipe is that it always has a bite and makes my tongue sore, so I always have reverted back to cigarettes. I would love to quit cigarettes and smoke only a pipe but I can't seem to get rid of the bite. My wife absolutely hates the smell of cigarettes but likes the smell a pipe, so I get a thumbs up when I smoke a pipe. I was watching the Hobbit movie and saw them smoking long pipes. I have never had one and I was wondering if the length would help lessen the bite so I ordered this one to give it a try. I was amazed to find how much smoother smoking this pipe was than my other pipes. The bite doesn't begin for me until it gets down to the bottom of the bowl. By that time, I am ready to stop smoking it anyway. So now if I want to smoke a pipe, this is the pipe I now grab. I find it a lot more enjoyable than my short pipes. The pipe appears to be well constructed. There are only 2 drawbacks to a long pipe that I can find. Due to it's length it does require one hand to hold the pipe, unless one has super strong teeth. This in turn makes it hard for me to smoke it while playing and typing on my computer or working in the yard. It's great for sitting back while watching a movie or just relaxing though. The other drawback I found is storing it when you are not puffing on it. It won't fit into my pipe rack so I have to either lay it down on it's side or put it back into the box it came with. It's a minor problem that I can live with. So far, I really like the pipe and I am very glad that I purchased it. Review: great pipe. - Fantastic pipe. My first Churchwarden and I'm not disappointed with my choice. Great smoke. I personally removed the navaho feathers/beads due to personal preferance. Only issue i have (agreeing with a previous reviewer) is that the stem is slightly loose from the shank so of you dont support the pipe with your hand whilst drawing out the smoke, it may loosen out. Great value for money and all in all a quality pipe. Great job Mr Blog. ## Features - Comes In A Gift Box With Inner Velvet Lining - Rsoewood Bowl - Cool Soothing Draw - Very Sturdy Strong Stem - Extra Long Churchwarden - 14" Inches ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B008EOWU9I | | Best Sellers Rank | #193,338 in Health ( See Top 100 in Health ) #147 in Tobacco Pipes | | Brand | Lilka Classica | | Brand Name | Lilka Classica | | Chamber Depth | 1.5 Inches | | Color | Brown | | Colour | Brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,998 Reviews | | Exterior Finish | rusticted | | Item Dimensions | 11.7 x 6.9 x 3.8 centimeters | | Item Shape | Churchwarden | | Item Weight | 0.45 Pounds | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 11.7 x 6.9 x 3.8 centimeters | | Item weight | 0.45 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Lilka Classica | | Material | Wood | | Model Number | No Model | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | 14 Rusticated | | Stem Material | Wood | | Stem material | Wood | | UPC | 617529812535 616983892961 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Lilka Classica - **Colour:** Brown - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 11.7 x 6.9 x 3.8 centimeters - **Item weight:** 204 g - **Material:** Wood ## Images ![Extra Long 14" Stem Churchwarden Tobacco Pipe - With Indian Spirit Feathers & Beads - Hand Made Wood Smoking Bowl for Herbs - in Gift Box - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61V43cIQPKL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this pipe have a filter?** A: Where can I get replacement filter **Q: How do you keep the bowl in place?
