This was a bit thicker than some of the other flexible cutting boards I have had in the past. **Q: Item dimensions and product description dimensions don't match. What are actual correct dimensions** A: 24 x 18 **Q: Is the bottom of the mat non-slip?** A: No. It is the standard single layer sheet cutting mat. I do like the size when my elderly dad wants to help with the cutting & chopping. Cleanup is much easier. Maybe put a small amount of cooking oil on the counter to prevent slipping? **Q: Is this thick enough to not buckle/curl after being put in the dishwasher? I have some now that are too think and bow up and won't lie flat anymore.** A: Mine wouldn't fit in the dishwasher until I trimmed it.. a lot! Aside from the unconventional application below, this sturdy, easy-clean board would be fantastic for a various crafts and I'll probably get more of these in assorted sizes just for the craft room. :-) We needed something flexible, yet sturdy, waterproof and easy to clean that would fit inside the back edge of our large litter box as an extended "backsplash". This jumbo flexible cutting board was perfect for the task and was far more economical than the rotary cutting boards we've used in the past. This board works so well as a shield to keep our boy kitty's accidental "oversprays" inside the large litter box that we bought 2 more cutting boards to use as a 3-sided shield for the other litter box. So far they don't seem to absorb odors or etch like the rotary cutting boards did, which is another huge plus.
