Did I receive a defective product?** A: That's almost certainly 230 degrees *Celsius* (not Fahrenheit!) 230C `=450F. I actually slow roast meat all the time & at even lower temperatures, great results but can't be done on an open grill! At 230 F you'd need to use a closed oven & it would take > 3 hrs. **Q: What plates come with the unit?
