Review: Successfully glued mailing label to package - I finally used up a Sparco glue stick, .88 oz., after many years. I've used it mostly for gluing computer-generated mailing labels onto packages to be mailed by USPS. These Elmer's Washable Disappearing Purple School Glue Sticks did the job for me. It's nice that the glue spreads purple but quickly turn transparent. The mailing label seems to have stuck onto the package very well. If the package gets caught in the rain during delivery, I wonder if the "Washable" attribute means the label could come off, but I don't know. I wish the package had indicated that the glue forms a permanent bond. At .21 oz. per stick, these are much smaller in weight and diameter of the Sparco glue stick, roughly one-quarter the size, so it took a bit more time to cover the surface. The writing on the sticks, such as "Made in China", is very difficult to read, being small black text on a dark blue background.
Review: Good value - I really like these glue sticks, they work well. I homeschool and we use them a lot. I'll be honest this price is just about the same as Wal-Mart but I'm a prime member and live 45 minutes from Wal-Mart so it was just easier to have them delivered in 2-3 days. If you've never used these, they aren't messy, there is no smell, they're easy to use, they're sticky without the mess like regular glue. And the kids aren't putting glue on their hands waiting for it to dry so they can peel it off, lol!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great deal for back to school!
*by L***M on August 17, 2016*

I ordered these glue sticks for back to school because they were on sale for $1 for 6 glue sticks. My kids are starting middle school and high school this year so thank goodness they don't need the mile long list of classroom supplies anymore but glue sticks always come in handy sop this way I have a nice little stash for those last minute projects. These are the kind that start purple and dry clear so you can better see how much glue you are putting where which is a feature I think is so smart. It really helps to limit the clumping and bubbling that happens when you get too much glue in one spot. There is not too much more I can say about glue sticks but I wanted to take a moment to write this review because I ordered a few other sweet deals on school supplies that were supposedly shipping from China or somewhere so the delivery was like a month and after waiting all that time they never arrived. But these actually got here. Yay! Pleasant surprise! So I wanted to say thanks! This was a good deal!
