Te cuento mi experiencia: Tengo cerca de 70 plantas en casa, casi todas en semi hidropónico, aunque también en sustrato convencional. El Pon de Lechuza que utilizo para el semi hidro trae incluido abono de liberación lenta, pero es muy, muy suave y no veía grandes avances en mis aroides. Este abono se puede usar para semi hidro, hidro o convencional, sin problemas, así que fertilizo en cada riego y cada vez que tengo que llenar los depósitos y me despreocupo de estar sobre fertilizando o de producir quemaduras a las plantas. He notado resultados visibles aproximadamente un mes después de empezar a usarlo, aunque en plantas que tenían claras señales de deficiencias, por ejemplo, el ficus lyrata (que ya daba por perdido) el cambio se nota en días, incluso en horas. El problema es que para entonces, ya me he zampado medio envase de 32 oz. y eso usando la cantidad mínima recomendada. Así que ni dura tanto como he leído en otros comentarios, ni puede ser tan buena compra, porque aunque en EEUU tiene un precio ajustado, aquí en España los precios pueden variar entre 64 € a más de 120€. Es una locura. Tarda en hacer efecto, pero cuando lo hace... esto es maná para las plantas. Especialmente estoy notando en el tamaño de las hojas nuevas, que casi están doblando el tamaño regular que conseguía con otros fertilizantes líquidos. y en el crecimiento de plantas especialmente delicadas, como el philodentron gloriosum, el verrucosum inciensi o el melano. Están más sanos, más fuertes y no paran de crecer, a pesar de tenerlos fuera de cabinet y a la buena de dios. Si pudiera comprarlo al precio de EEUU, con unos gastos de envíos razonables, sería mi fertilizante de cabecera. Si tienes pocas plantas o si quieres darte el capricho, no te vas a arrepentir. If you see any solids, that means some chemicals have precipitated out and recombined into other compounds. And that means you've lost nutrients for the plants and the product is deficient in unknown ways. It's not possible to re-dissolve the precipitates by shaking or any other way. Because chemistry. Exposure to temps below 45F will cause precipitation so don't store where that can happen. When I receive a container of Foliage-Pro, I inspect for precipitates and will return the product as defective if any found. If the fertilizer liquid is clear, I then dilute to 50% for storage - this will help prevent accidental precipitation. And I only buy late spring to early fall so the product doesn't end up on a truck in freezing weather. HTH - I found all this stuff out the hard way. But I've used Foliage-Pro for years and love it - great for high value crops. Just don't let it get cold. **Q: Which is better for calamondin oranges/meyers lemons - this or Jobe's 09226 Organic Fruit & Citrus Gran? Jobe's NPK ratio is 3-5-5 & it's powder. Thx!** A: The Citrus fertilizer blend is better for citrus, it has higher ratio of PK to N, which is better for developing flowers and fruit; and also has additional sulfur which helps the acidity of the soil, which citrus prefers. I use the Jobes for my lemons and it works great. If your tree still has yellowing leaves it could be soil ph, the sulfur takes time to change that, and a foliar spray can help. The dyna grow is good for leafy plants, or plants before they flower. **Q: Would this benefit canabis plants?** A: This is not enough nutrients to promote a thriving cannabis plant. **Q: Can this be diluted per directions and apply directly to leaves?** A: You can dilute it to many different concentrations (all on directions) and water the plant with it. I dont know why you would apply it directly to the leaves. Most of my plants are small -- in 4" pots to 6" pots. Most are in a combination of cactus/succulent soil with something to aerate (pumice usually, sometimes chick grit). Some, however, are in non-organic mixes -- usually just pure pumice, or a combination of pumice, chick grit and Turface. This latter group (because there is no soil to provide nutrients) gets fertilized every time I water. Foliage Pro 9-3-6 is the only fertilizer I use. I've been using it for years. I learned about it on the old GardenWeb web site (now part of Houzz). FP-936 ALWAYS gets diluted -- and should. And it make a huge, positive difference. I have had very decent plant growth even in succulents and have had NO burning of plants with it. It's not cheap -- but a little goes a LONG way.
