I do not think it needs one. It's a great razor. Seems very well built. **Q: does the head unscrew from the base or is it one piece?** A: It's one piece - the blades just slide on/off. Amazon has a great price on replacement blades. **Q: i have gillette trac II plus razor blades will they fit this razor** A: They are supposed to fit, but the head is too small and the Trac II blade slides back and forth and can even fall off. Even the Taconic brand blades made for it don't fit tightly enough. So disappointed, and the handle is not eligible for return. ## Frequently Bought Together - Taconic Shave, Heavyweight All Metal Non-Pivoting Twin Blade Cartridge Razor Compatible with GIllette Trac II, Personna, and Taconic Refills - 10 Cartridges Included - Taconic Shave 100 Twin Blade Razor Cartridges With Lubricating Strip - Compatible With All Gillette Trac 2 , G2, G II, Contour, Vector And Gillette Atra Razor Handles - Made In The Usa - Gillette Trac II Razor (Compatible) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/3552330-taconic-shave-heavyweight-all-metal-non-pivoting-twin-blade-cartridge](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/3552330-taconic-shave-heavyweight-all-metal-non-pivoting-twin-blade-cartridge) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
