I actually found my hands were warmer with my ski gloves, alone. Very strange, huh? I tried each hand, just to be sure. These gloves that I primarily bought for jogging were terrible when snow blowing with outer gloves.Update: great for jogging in 30 degree weather. My hands stayed warmer than the rest of me. Quite impressed that even my hand which held my water bottle stayed comfortable. First let me say they are not as warm as the bulkly/awkward 3M thinsulate gloves I picked up in a 711 while in Japan. Those were amazing when it came to cold weather until you had to use your phone or needed dexterity. Que the reason I bought these gloves. They are warm but not going to protect under 32° American. You can feel wind but it's not bad. It takes a while to warm up from cold in them but they are great for grip. Great for a phone... For the first 2 weeks. After that the fingers used for a phone deteriorate quick. Also if you use protective glass for your phone it won't work with these gloves. Aside from that they are amazing great for grip and great for shooting. They are sureal when it comes to casual gloves you don't notice when it is cold.
