Take of the cover, pour into pot 1 1/4 cups water or broth. Add a little salt if you are not using broth. Add a little butter or olive oil. Turn on heat. Bring water or broth to a boil and gently stir in 1 cup of couscous. Cover the pot. Turn off burner and remove pot from the burner. Allow to sit for 5 - 7 minutes. Take cover off pot. Couscous will have a dry, congealed, lumpy texture. Fluff up with a fork, getting rid of all the lumps. You can also try this with a rice cooker. **Q: What are the health benefits?** A: Hi :-) So, I had really high hopes for this couscous, but sadly, when it arrived it was broken open and smelled rancid!! I didn't take notice to health benefits from this particular brand, but you can always google health benefits of couscous. I am so sorry I couldn't answer your question.
