The Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) is exactly as I hoped for. A large opening on the bottom to fill with an Octo, and a one-way valve in the bottom section doesn't let the air back out, so it will remain inflated at the surface and not lose air if it tips over. Valve to manually inflate by mouth or BCD hose works well. Press in, and inflate by mouth, let go and it springs back and stops air flow, locking it in. Dump valve works, though I haven't tested as a pressure relief yet. I intend to use soon in Hawaii and if I experience any issues, I will revise this review.
