In cedar you probably want to use stainless nails. Around here those are hard to find. We needed a gun that can shoot thicker diameter coil nails so I decided to give this a try, especially since it shoots multiple diameter nails. The gun is a little on the heavy side, but has all the features of the high price ones. I work with three other carpenters and they are all impressed using it and are gonna buy one as well. Why not for that price? Half of what I paid for the Bostich... I've seen other reviews where people say it double shoots a lot. Just learn how to use it and you will rarely have that happen.
