## Description

CICA-CARE is a silicone gel sheet designed for temporary use in the management of both existing and new hypertrophic scars and keloids on closed wounds. It is effective in fading red, raised scars up to 30 years old on children and adults. It can also reduce the thickness, itchiness, and coloration of raised scars. CICA-CARE is conformable and flexible and can be used in many anatomical locations, making it easy to apply and remove during your daily life.Directions: Clean and dry the surrounding skin, then lift a CICA-CARE sheet out of the peel packet with its release liner attached. Cut a piece to cover the scar, leaving a small overlap on the surrounding skin. For large scars, use several sheets side by side. To help with ease of removal, ensure that each piece includes the removal flap on the backing sheet. Carefully peel off the release liner and apply the adhesive side to the scar without stretching the sheet. Although CICA-CARE is self-adhesive, it may also be held in place by a light elastic conforming bandage or tape, such as OPSITE Flexfix or Primafix. Do not bind the sheet too tightly against the scar, as this can lead to irritation in the scar and the surrounding area. Keep the unused portion of the CICA-CARE gel sheet in the original container and store it in a dry place (<25°C). Always use CICA-CARE as directed. **Q: What color?**
A: Mine was clear. I had cancer removed from my neck.  The doctor recommended I use this to help with the scar.  Perhaps the location was my neck where there is a lot of movement the gel sheet did not stick well so I put a piece of surgical tape or a bandaid over it to secure the gel sheet.

**Q: what is expiration date?**
A: The Circa-Care gel sheet that I received was manufactured on 05-01-2021 the expiration date is 05-01-2026.  I cannot determine when the package you order will be manufactured, but can tell you it is good for 5 years. Hope this helps

**Q: how is this product used?**
A: The most effective way to use it is with the recommendation & guidance of a healthcare professional, to reduce a scar. It's an expensive product, so you'd want them to explain how much of the Cica-Care sheet to cut, to cover your particular scar, and if there's any part of the body they don't want you to cover with it. On clean dry skin, you would place one end of the tacky side against the end of your scar, then carefully lay the strip/piece along the scar, making sure it's absolutely flat & with full contact.

**Q: What's the largest size**
A: I do not know about the largest size. But 5*6 inch is big enough to satisfy you. I am using it with smaller ones to patch my scar.
