All-in-one package. Wall filter goes on top of existing wall plate
This is a handy pack when adding DSL to a home phone setup. You get five single-line DSL filters, a splitter, a VERY high quality 14-foot cable and a wall jack filter. The wall jack filter needs a bit of explanation. It does not replace a wall jack, as I thought it did, but mounts on top of it using the buttons a phone would normally attach to. There is a sliding connector inside that plugs into your existing wall jack, then you replace the stainless steel cover plate. No wiring is needed. The circuitry inside seems good quality. All the filters work well.

not what i thought
I was thinking since this says dsl filter that there would be a place for a dsl line and phone jack line but reading the title but I was wrong as all the slots were just phone jack size so end up having to send back think maybe the name should be changed or something.

Phone cord
I purchased a new cordless set of phones. Well I found that I needed additional telephone cord length that would reach the wall jack. Also I had static on the new phones which made my hearing what the caller was saying difficult. The caller could hear me, I could not hear them. I decide to purchase this kit as it had a variety of items that I might need. I was pleased with the length of the phone line and it work perfectly for my needs. I used several of the filters. There are a few parts I have not used yet but something tells me that in the future this kit is going to come in handy. Also for the number of parts offered, I thought the price was reasonable.

Very complete, great overall!
The packaging is great, the kit itself is over the top. Tis was purchased to remedy some of my parent's ISP woes. They did not supply enough filters when installing, which reduced internet speeds by 2/3's. Kit was very complete and for the money it is amazing. More than I bargained for, quality is great too. No issues to date.

Does the job
Hard to get excited about products like this. Simply put, arrived quickly, good packaging, worked as described. Fair price. Everything needed to filter your phone lines.

Great price and function
I have installed these as needed on my phone lines and they eliminated the static I was experiencing on the land line. I had a guy work in the house on another electrical project and he said the filters I had previously were interferring and he junked them. After he left we had problems with static on the line and problems with the internet. I went to buy the filters at a local big box store and they were $8.00 a piece! I ordered these and they work great.

Good price, but limited usage.
I purchased this kit which included five DSL filters, a little over a year ago. So far, three of them have gone bad. They work just fine for a while, but these are the only DSL filters I've ever had a problem with over the last five years. They're branded as "ALCATEL SPEED TOUCH" on the filters, made in China. With six telephone line connections in my home (4 phones, fax, DVR) in use, troubleshooting a bad DSL filter is a pain, so now use either GE or Bell DSL filters. I seem to recall paying a lot less for these last year, too.

The perfect set of essential items for any new DSL installation
Unless you have DSL-only service (i.e. no voice service on the same line), you will need DSL filters. At Best Buy, you can pay up to $20 per filter, and you need one for every telephone, answering machine, fax machine, and any other device in your home. This kit provides five filters, plus a wall mount plug, and a few other accessories for half the price of one filter at the big box store. The items are of very high quality from a major multinational telecommunications equipment manufacturer. My small rural town received DSL service for the first time this week (sad but true, stuck with 56kbps dialup internet in 2012!!!). Many people were unaware of the need for filters; I recommended this product to everyone, and with free Amazon Prime two-day delivery, most of town was up and running by Wednesday. Now, if only CenturyLink can get the quirks worked out!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
