So far I am enjoying them. They are very light, they are comfy. Wide chunky heels are the best. I love the added sparkle. I am already 5'9.5" so these put me at a solid 6' tall. Embrace the height! But if you are short, these would be a great buy. They stay on your feet well and I haven't experienced any sliding around. Since they are wooden, the bottoms are slippery and do not have traction. I had purchased a similar pair at a large department store for $180, and never wore them because I couldn't justify keeping them. They're going back to the store, because I found these amazing sandals instead, and at this price, I got multiple colors. They are very comfortable, and the shape of the slope of the shoe makes it so that the shoe stays in place, and doesn't put pressure on the ball of your foot. They are lightweight, too. They run a bit small. I wear a 7 1/2, and the 8 fits me just right. Since I was looking for the 1970's "Bear Trap" style, I might have the hubby remove the "bling" strap. I purchased a second pair of this same shoe so that I can have a pair WITH the bling strap, as it is very cute for a more dressy look. An additional note - they are man made materials, so if you prefer a guilt-free shoe not made of leather, here you go.
