As long as you put your paint bottles touching the centre of the shaker mechanism, it seems to lose no power. Compared to other Vortex mixers that I've seen on social media this is a fair priced piece of kit that does the job. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent but a little temperamental. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 May 2022* I got this as an old shoulder injury prevents me really being able to shake paints up well for my miniatures. It works great, mixes quickly and thoroughly. I'd definitely recommend having agitators in your pots though.One negative, is the switch that activates when you press down seems a little finicky. On a lot of occasions the device won't actually stop after I remove the pot. I have to lift it slightly off the table and that settles it down.It's not a deal breaker for me as it still does everything I need, but it's not how it's supposed to operate.
