Found orange color nice *by A***N on September 7, 2015* Ordered unit, was contacted by seller, told unit is now orange and asked what specs I needed for 50/60 hz 120/230v. (I had hoped it to be field adjustable, found later hz are Voltage is not). Received it approx 1 mo. Later in good condition. Found orange color nice, paint was baked on metal cover. Nice looking unit. Heavy, solid feel. Breakers on unit of high quality. Inverter works great, I have loaded it up with washer/dryer, vacuum and my kurig. No issues so far, much quieter than a friends Magnum inverter. Hooked up generator, charger works well, adjustable charge rate 0-100%. Hooked up 4 solar panels (940w of 1440w possible). MPPT function works well. Transfer time between line and inverter is good, my electronics dont turn off or notice switch over.Manual is GOOD, I was worried it would be broken English.ConsUnit draws 60w idle, living in Alaska sun is scarce in the winter (down to about 4 hrs per day just over the horizon) and I need to conserve all I can.Batt saver mode works but I dont like it clicking on/off ever 3 sec. And if you are just using alittle power for lights you are still burning up an extra 60w. I will be getting a 24v 1000w inverter for the small things. Unit came with remote switch but no temp sensor.Display doesnt tell much, batt voltage, line v, inverter v, % of load. Some idiot lights on front. Overall Im very pleased.Update- I've raised my review from 4 to 5 stars. I've been using for about 1.5 yrs now and it's still working great. The only issue I've had is the idle draw of 60w but for the 1500.00 I saved over the equivalent inverter I could buy many more panels and this unit comes with the MPPT solar charger and auto gen start included saving much more money. It works as advertised! As far as I know its the only combination of inverter, solar charger, and load switcher that I can see. The manufacturer is in China so it takes a while to get as they ship from there to your location. When I informed GT Sun that it was holding up my solar project they expedited the delivery!
