I was apprehensive about it because of the low price, but I couldn't be more pleased. If you are unsure about sizing, I suggest you do what I did. I took an old coat that I own and measureed it. Then I compared that to the size chat for this coat. This worked perfectly for me. I thought I may need an XL, but a large was the best fit. I'm 5' 8", weigh 190 pounds. It's a light weight coat that should be perfect for 50 to 60 degrees weather. There is no warm lining so a light weight sweater or sweat shirt would be needed to keep warm in colder weather. Depending on the shirt, I wear small or medium and I need the medium in this jacket. The small fit according to the measurements, but the waste area of the jacket was too tight so I needed medium.The hood has a harder time covering my poofy hair, but when I wrap the velcro, the hood is fine and has adjustable tightness.Rain:(So far it has kept me 100% dry)The jacket keeps me dry when walking 5-10 minutes between classes in light to moderate rain.
