But when I use the alarm I find that %100 of the time the sunrise mode is what wakes me up, and you can't turn it off. I specifically got this alarm for the sunrise mode, in hopes of waking up better, but if anything, it makes me more grumpy. As for the alarm, you cannot change the sound, even though it has different sounds. It is stuck on the farm sounds, which is really the most annoying one. Very interesting information is provided by manufacturer about light, darkness and melatonin. The curtains are always closed in my bedroom and usually I wake up hardly. But now I don't turn off the dawn simulator all week, because I like this gentle light in the morning that helps me wake up easier. About radio: the stations are auto scanned when the radio is turned on first and then by one touch I set my favorite. I use Snooze more out of habit but don't need it.
