It does take a few passes to cut through paper and a little pressure and depending on the paper may catch a little but it works. I wish that it could hold more than two rolls especially for Christmas asi use an abundant of different rolls of paper. I use it to cut craft and wrapping paper for my art. Origami, etc. My only suggestion would be placing a mark at either end of the cutting line, so you know exactly where to place the paper for projects that need fine measurements like mine. I love the storage space for rolls of paper.
