The reasonably priced and I believe they're good for your dog as they have glucosamine in it. That's supposed to help your dog's hips especially if you have a golden retriever because they are prone to have hip problems as they get older. My dog is now almost 9 years old and she runs around like crazy dog sometimes. I highly recommend these for your big dog or even a medium sized dog but a small dog might have a hard time because they are pretty good size. They are quite large and hard and I especially do not think your little guy will be able to chew them. They may have something similar in soft chews which might be smaller.
