Some lever handles have very pointy ends, as you enter the bathroom, or walk through the narrow hallway - it is possible to hit the end of the handle with your hand or a hip Small children can also hit it accidentally with their head when they run around. This handles have the end part rounded in, towards the door, which make these a very safe design. I was actually looking for just this type of design. Very happy with these.
