Do these plans give instructions for that?** A: Not directly. With some carpentry know-how, it is possible to adapt the plans so that you use the instructions for the queen lower bunk with the twin upper bunk. Good luck! **Q: Can the bed be easily taken apart for moving?** A: My answer would be No. I moved and left it behind because I had no place for it in my new house and I figured it would be a real pain to take it apart because it is so big and heavy. **Q: what type of wood is required is standard pine ok?** A: Most who build this use Standard Pine (i.e. standard white-wood you can purchase at Home DePot or Lowe's). This type of wood, along with the joint reinforcement design it uses makes for a very strong and sturdy bunk bed. **Q: How much do all the materials cost to build these beds?
