I read a ton of reviews on various transmitters and they all seemed quirky in one way or another except this one, so took a chance and bought it. No regrets at all. The signal has to travel through an insulated 10' ceiling and laterally about 30'. No dropouts, static, pops, or extraneous noises of any kind. Just clean music as good as the original source and no audible latency at all when I stood between the two zones.
