It does not die your hair. **Q: Will this cover grey roots?** A: No I use this it helps me go longer between die jobs but doesn't cover gray. **Q: Does it cover grey?** A: No **Q: Is it just shampoo like it says?** A: This is usually used by redheads as it will enhance the red hair.
